Jealousy Essay In the book that we read, "A Wreath from the woods of Carolina" we read about Magnolia. Magnolia describes that there is a beautiful girl (whose name is violet) from the highest grade of society. She explains that all of the girls are jealous of her friendship with violet. In the end violet starts to die from sickness. The girl that was mean to violet came to her house and read a bible to her. Just like there is jealousy in this story it carries on in life. The Case of the Magical Sneakers
Once upon a time there was a man named Sha who played on a college basketball team. His good friend JayVaughn was practicing one day at the team’s court. Sha later came in with some really nice sneakers. JayVaughn stated “Those are some pretty nice kicks you got there” Sha Replied with a thank you and started to practice. JayVaughn noticed Sha hitting all of his three point shots and throwing down some crazy dunks. He started to envy Sha’s sneakers and thought that it was time for him to get some new sneakers. Later that night JayVaughn went on his computer and searched for some new kicks. He had finally found the perfect pair for himself, nice bright red flashy sneakers. The next day at practice JayVaughn walked into practice with his shoes. Sha didn’t seem to notice or care about them. This made JayVaughn angry. In practice the team scrimmaged. JayVaughn was the best on the team. He decided to guard Sha. JayVaughns team got the ball first. His team mate passed the ball to JayVaughn. He tried to do a fancy move to the basket but Sha stole it from him. Sha was on a fast break when all of the sudden he did a backflip and slammed the ball into the hoop. This made JayVaughn cry and run out of practice. That night JayVaughn came up with the perfect explanation, Sha’s shoes where magic. JayVaughns team was two days away from game day and he needed to do something about Sha’s sneakers or else Sha would start over JayVaughn. JayVaughn decided that he needed to steal them. The night before the game while Sha was sleeping, JayVaughn left his house ready to destroy the magical sneakers. While JayVaughn approached the house he didn’t realize that there were police there. JayVaughn went up to the window and smashed it. The police heard it and blasted JayVaughn right over the head *4 months later* JayVaughn woke up in a hospital finding himself next to his teammates. Everyone was happy to see that he was alive except Sha. Sha questioned JayVaughn and asked why he was trying to break into his house. JayVaughn explained about the magical sneakers. He admitted that his sneakers were magic and could make him jump higher. Sha felt bad for JayVaughn so he gave him his extra pair of magical sneakers. JayVaughn and Sha became best friends and never were jealous of each other again. The two best friends crashed through the roof and flew out into the sunset with their magical sneakers. Later that evening the two friends had to pay for all of the damage there magical sneakers did around the city. The final cost of all of it was 9.9 million dollars. JayVaughn and Sha had to fly away to A new land to start a new civilization away from the police so they wouldn't have to live there life in jail. It truly was a good idea to start a new civilization. This civilization is today most popularly known as the Central African Republic. Which is the worldwide leader in harvesting bananas. The moral of this story is if you’re jealous of someone’s sneakers don’t try to steal them.
